About TWV Action
Tomorrow We Vote Action is a non-partisan 501(c)(4) nonprofit that focuses on the issues which affect the current generation of new voters: Generation Z. We also arrange voter-engaging events for awareness of the political process and to urge the population to vote – with a specific focus on new and young voters.
Civix and a Slice
Established in April 2018, Tomorrow We Vote Action has already teamed up with Indivisible Arizona for a four-part series, Civix and a Slice in the summer of 2018. Civix and a Slice offered pizza and a 2-hour educational lecture on civics with a focus on how it applies to voting.
Get Out The Vote
August of 2018, TWV Action engaged in a Get Out The Vote (GOTV) effort by holding texting and door-knocking events with volunteers during the Primary Election. Youth-led, we organized a focus on Black and Brown communities who were largely ignored in these efforts by many organizations.
Souls to the Polls
Before the Midterm Election in November, Tomorrow We Vote Action organized and held a Souls to the Polls event which focused on diversity and encouraged voters to drop off their ballots at one of four locations we had opened on that particular day.
Speed Dating Candidate Forum
During the campaign for those running in the Phoenix City Council races in Districts 5 & 8, TWV Action held a speed dating-style Candidate Forum for the public to know those running in those districts
Student-Led City Council Candidate Debate
A student-led debate occurred for the final candidates running for Districts 5 & 8 for City Council. Hosted by two high school students, two candidates appeared to take questions before the election.
Doll Drive to Bring Awareness to Police Brutality
